Questo high temperature RFID tag is a passive HF identification tag with a PPS housing. Its compact disc format is suitable for projects where tagged items pass close to a reader at an inspection point or processing station.
Three model families provide different diameters to fit the available installation space. The tag supplies an electronic identifier that connected software can associate with the item’s production, inspection or maintenance records.

Each chip option is a separate configuration. A reader must support the selected protocol and chip commands; matching the frequency alone does not establish compatibility.

Per high temperature asset tags, the installation needs to suit both the item and the process. Select the diameter according to the available space, then check the mounting surface and fixing method.
Metal near the antenna can affect reading. This product’s PPS housing does not, by itself, confirm suitability for direct metal mounting. Provide the proposed installation arrangement for assessment.
The attachment also needs to withstand the application. If adhesive is planned, check its temperature rating and suitability for the surface rather than relying only on the tag’s specification.
Sample Evaluation Before Deployment
Test samples with the reader and items that will be used in production. A useful evaluation includes:
- Reading at the intended position and orientation.
- Running the planned heating and cooling sequence.
- Checking identification at the required process stage.
- Inspecting the housing and attachment after repeated use.
Exposure duration, cycle count, nearby materials and reader placement all help define whether the selected configuration fits the project. A temperature range alone does not describe every process condition.
