Plain White ID Card for Professional Badge Printing

Blank White ID Cards in Standard CR80 Format

A plain white ID card is an unprinted PVC card used to produce employee badges, student credentials, membership cards, visitor passes, and other forms of visual identification.
These blank white ID cards use the standard CR80 format and have a smooth surface for printing photographs, names, logos, barcodes, QR codes, and serial numbers with compatible ID-card equipment.
The standard card is chipless. Magnetic-stripe, inkjet-coated, and 125 kHz RFID configurations are available separately for projects requiring additional printing or access-control functions.

Choose the card according to the printer and credential system already in use.

A standard glossy blank ID card should not be used with an inkjet printer unless it has the required ink-receptive coating. An RFID version must also match the reader frequency, chip type, and credential format.

How Plain White ID Cards Are Printed and Issued

  • Organizations first create a card layout containing elements such as a logo, photograph, name, department, and identification number.
  • The design is printed using a compatible ID-card printer. Barcodes or QR codes may be added for record lookup, attendance, or internal workflows.
  • When electronic access is required, a magnetic-stripe or RFID-enabled card is linked to the relevant employee, student, member, or visitor record.
  • Sample cards should be tested with the intended printer, ribbon, reader, badge holder, and management software before large-scale issuance.
