125kHz Rewritable EM4305 Card and T5577 Card Options

Printable LF Cards for Access Control and Attendance

A 125kHz rewritable EM4305 card is a passive LF RFID credential with writable memory for compatible identification systems. This PVC card is suitable for supported access control, attendance and membership applications.

A T5577 card is also available as an alternative chip option. Select the version that matches your programmer, reader and required data format. Each rewritable RFID card requires compatible equipment to update its supported writable data.

The cards use a glossy PVC body in CR80 format with a thickness of 0.76 mm. They can be supplied blank or customized with logos, serial numbers, barcodes and QR codes. The minimum order quantity is 500 pcs.

Chip selection and encoding must match the target reader and controller. A shared 125 kHz frequency alone does not establish compatibility.

EM4305 / T5577 Rewritable RFID Card Options

Chip option Selection consideration
EM4305 Choose when the programmer and target system support EM4305 read/write commands and the required data format
T5577 Choose when the programmer and target system support the required T5577 configuration and output format

Both versions contain writable memory, but their programming commands and configuration differ. Confirm the selected chip with your equipment supplier or test samples before ordering in volume.
“Rewritable” refers to supported writable data areas. It does not mean that every chip identifier or protected memory area can be changed. Locking and password settings may restrict later updates.

Applications for Rewritable RFID Cards

  • Door access: Issue credentials for compatible office, residential or campus access controllers.
  • Time attendance: Associate the card identifier with an employee record in the attendance system.
  • Visitor management: Configure cards for supported visitor registration and access workflows.
  • Membership identification: Link cards to member records for gyms, clubs or other compatible facilities.

Access permissions and attendance records are normally managed by the connected system. Changing a user’s permissions may only require a database update rather than rewriting the card.

Printing and Encoding Options

Blank PVC RFID cards can be used for compatible card-printing workflows. Custom production options include branding, printed identification numbers, barcodes, QR codes and slot punching.

Surface printing and electronic encoding are separate processes. A printed number can be matched to the electronic identifier, but printing a new number does not change the chip data.

For pre-encoded orders, provide the selected chip, required format, numbering sequence and reader or controller model. Confirm the artwork and test encoded samples before production.

Checking Reader Compatibility

Start with the chip type and data format supported by your existing system. Confirm that the programming device can write the selected chip and that the access reader can interpret the configured output.

After programming, test the card on the actual reader and controller. Check that the electronic identifier matches the printed number and the expected database record.

Frequently Asked Question

The top questions about 125khz rewritable em4305 card

Yes. Supported writable memory can be updated with a compatible EM4305 programmer. Password and protection settings may restrict further changes. The factory-programmed UID is separate from the writable data.

Choose a T5577 card when your programming equipment and access system support the required T5577 configuration. It is an alternative version, not an additional chip built into the EM4305 card.

No. Compatibility also depends on the chip configuration, modulation, encoding and data format expected by the reader and controller. Test samples with the actual system.

Standard phone NFC cannot program 125 kHz LF cards. Use an appropriate LF RFID programmer that supports T5577 or EM4305.

Yes. The cards have a printable glossy PVC surface. Confirm compatibility with the chosen printer and printing process. Custom logos, numbers, barcodes and QR codes are available.

Yes, where the system supports reassignment. Update the user association in the management software, or rewrite supported card data when required. Verify the credential before reissuing it.

The MOQ is 500 pcs. Samples can be requested to check printing, programming and reader compatibility. Confirm lead time according to the chip option, artwork, encoding and order quantity.
